With his family’s blessing, we are deeply saddened to share that our CEO, Dr. Lavallee, passed away unexpectedly. 

His powerful voice commanded attention. He spoke up for those who could not and left an impact that will be remembered. He was a fearless advocate for those who faced injustice and harm, and he fought tirelessly for First Nations People.  

He will be greatly missed.
